The Association’s Affiliate Membership Program strives to promote good working relationships with people in the related areas of the real estate industry. Affiliate membership status is available to individuals, businesses and services who, although not engaged in the real estate profession as a licensed Broker or Agent, have interests in the real estate industry. Affiliate services are generally services that are necessary to the purchase, sale or refinance of real estate, such as title companies, appraisers, pest control and home inspectors, moving companies, banks, mortgage companies, savings and loan and other lending institutions.

Our Affiliate members are listed on the MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE (MLS), enabling local REALTORS® to easily find them and their contact information. Our Affiliate members are also listed on our public website, allowing people to locate their services and contact information.

 Affiliate members can ADVERTISE on our website and in our newsletter at a discount rate, and can place advertisements and flyers in the REALTOR® Member Office Drop Boxes at the Association office. Affiliate members also receive a 50% DISCOUNT on use of the TCAR Conference Center.

A MEMBERSHIP ROSTER is available to our affiliate members. The roster includes the name, address and phone number of each member office, along with the names and phone numbers of the licensees working out of each office. The roster also provides the addresses and phone numbers of Affiliate members. Affiliate members can receive the roster in a mailing label or spreadsheet format.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS occur periodically and feature speakers on pertinent real estate issues and trends. Affiliate members are invited to attend and participate, they can make announcements of interest to the group and may request to be a guest speaker on pertinent topics. These meetings also provide an opportunity for members of the local real estate industry to gather and exchange ideas and information and they are a great networking opportunity for our affiliate members.

EVENTS are planned for member enjoyment throughout the year such as fundraisers for Interfaith Social Services, Habitat for Humanity, and an Association Scholarship Fund, as well as social events such as an annual MLS Holiday Breakfast, annual Installation of Officers and Directors, periodic social mixers, and more. Affiliate members are invited to attend these events, and can request to sponsor all or part of an Association event or activity to further promote their business and services.

Affiliate members are invited to serve as part of the Association’s COMMITTEE STRUCTURE, including the education, community service, event, YPN and political action committees. They may also attend the commercial/industrial committee meetings.
